Brief History
UberBux.info has been around for about two
months. Within this time it has managed to
enter the Alexa chart but hasn’t got very
far within it with their current rant at
693,962. The site does hold its own stats
and these tell us that 3190 members have now
signed up. The site stats also tell us that
they have so far managed to payout $257 to
the members.
Design
There are some pretty serious design flaws
on this site. One of the most noticeable is
the colour scheme of the sites body being
dark grey under black text which makes
everything hard to read. The other is that
this site seems to be having something of a
confusing identity problem as there seems to
be 2 unique logo banners, one above the
buttons and one below.
The problem with the dark grey body is also
causing a problem with areas of dark red or
green text like on the advertising page. It
is important to get the design right on a
PTC site and making sure all the text is
easy to read is a key requirement.
Advertising
On the advertising page you will notice
there are actually two different methods of
advertising here. First is the standard
click ads and the other is a paid to sign up
section. This is good to see on such as
script as multiple methods are usually only
found on aurora type scripts.
The click ads section holds some fairly
reasonable prices with 2000 views for $20
and for 5000 views its just $35.00. This
shows us they have done the smart thing by
making the higher packages better value for
money. This will increase sales on their
larger packages making the site more
profitable.
Referral system
When checking the referrals page I noticed
that all packages currently have sets
available. The prices are also good here
with 10 referrals worth $7.00 and 30
referrals worth only $21. This shows the
tactic of making the larger packages sell
better has been applied here too. The down
line is also reported to be 100% for
standard member’s which is fantastic
combined with these prices.
Upgrades
The upgrade at UberBux is $34.99 for 1 year.
The benefits are 50% bonus on referral
earnings, 10 free referrals (if available)
and priority payments.
Performance
Unfortunately when testing this site I found
there were no ads to click and it seemed
like something is wrong with the surf ads
page. There is a lot of scrambled code here
much like what you see when a hacker has
messed up a site. This is big shame as the
referral system is great and the advertising
is priced well but without any ads there is
no performance here.
Conclusion
This could just be rotten luck that the site
is facing a problem with this page while we
are testing it so we will keep an eye on
this site over the coming days. Apart from
this block in the road the rest of the site
is fine except for the design. Hopefully
these issues with be sorted in good time so
we can review this site again in the not too
distant future.
I feel until these major issues are sorted
the site should not be rated.
