Brief History
RetroBux has yet to hit the Alexa chart but has been
developed of a long period of time by a seemingly
enthusiastic administrator known as Dave. This makes it
a great place to try and get a head start at building
your down line. A whois check up of the site will also
provide you with solid information regarding the site
and no over hidden details.
Design
The site holds a good design because it is clean and
unique. The script in use isn’t easy to identify but
does hold some bux-clone trademarks. Whatever the case
the site looks different and that is a good thing.
Having spoken to the owner it seems design freedom was
one of the key things he was after when looking for a
PTC script.
Advertising
Advertising prices are a little too high here given the
sites current traffic status, however the
deal for 1000 member views is good with a price of just
$8.99. 2500 views are worth $25.55 and for 5000 views
its $91.30 which is where the price runs away. A site at
this stage should only be charging $30 at the most for
5000 views. It’s important to get the balance right with
advertising so that the site still gains a profit while
holding cheap ads for advertisers to buy into.
Referral system
At RetroBux you can purchase 5 referrals for $6.95, 35
referrals for $34.65, 100 referrals for $98.78 and the
limited 500 referrals for $458.99. This is all on a down
line of 100% for standard members. I feel that because
the price becomes better value for money the larger the
package the site owner has done more research here and
provided some realistic deals.
Upgrades
To get premium membership at RetroBux the price is
$58.50. At this stage the premium membership can only
guarantee the minimum of 10 ads a day but the owner may
be able to change this later by adding some click bank
affiliate links the site can earn off conversions with.
Along with priority payments you are given the ability
to message your own referrals. The great thing about
this offer is the performances increases are very higher
with 125% earnings off your own clicks and your
referrals.
Performance
We found 6 standard ads to click when testing this site
which is pretty good given the age of the site. This
could mean a lot more ads are to come. All the ads are
worth the standard $0.01 per click and with a down line
of 100% this is a high performing PTC.
Conclusion
People often complain there are not enough new PTC sites
you can trust to put a lot of effort into building a
down line on. I feel this is one of the new sites you
can trust and a great place to get a head start with
your referral link. The owner seems determined to make
something of this site and has researched PTC sites well
before starting RetroBux. A great incentive this site
has introduced is paying those with the most ads clicked
first. 3 people have already been paid by this new site.
