What happened to GetBux.in?

Recently the PTC site known as GetBux.in had disappeared without a trace leaving many of the members to worry that they had been scammed. However the administrator then made a conscious effort to inform some of the users that the site had actually been hacked with the AlertPay account blocked.

We contacted the owner (Mark L) who echoed this statement and added that it first seemed impossible for the site to be hacked but everyone will be given notice when the site is back up. The owner failed to explain the process of this hacking attempt and why it has also affected the sites AlertPay account.

Of course it would be no surprise for a payment processor to freeze the account of a site that sites a problem. According to many of the users they were not informed quick enough that the site had been hacked which could have resulted in complaints directed at AlertPay regarding the site shortly after it went down.

We will be holding Mark to his word that this site will come back. Hopefully next time round he will make sure he is using a reliable script or invest in a coder to make it secure.
