Method: PTC
Brief history
GatorBux is one of the few PTC sites using the
Aurora script to include $0.01 ads. It is also
one of the few PTC sites to use PayPal, AlertPay
and e-Gold combined so members get the luxury to
choose which processor they wish their
withdrawals to go to. This is of course till a
disgruntled cheater files a dispute at PayPal.
The site has managed to hit the Alexa chart but
like many is struggling to keep a chart rise
after the Alexa chart changed its algorithm.
Design
As
far as Aurora type scripts go this one has the
best design we have seen so far. There is
nothing cheesy about this one as it holds a
clean cut modern design with a unique logo ID.
The design here also seems to be hit in the
public eye with plenty of positive talk about it
on blogs and forums.
Advertising
The great thing about the Aurora script is that
is usually comes with plenty of different
advertising options and here is no different.
Here you can purchase standard link ads, PTS
credits, x-credits and the old PTR emails. The
link ads are priced well with 1000 ads worth
just $5.00 and 4000 for $20.00 which is good
value for money with the traffic this site
holds.
Referral system
The down line is reported to be 100% here and a
set of 15 referrals cost $15.00 which is perfect
value for money with a 100% down line. The other
referral options include 35 for $35.00, 50 for
$50.00 and 100 for $100.00. We feel the site
should make further reduction on the high
packages as it would make these deals more
attractive while still providing the site with a
profit.
Upgrades
To upgrade here you are given a years membership
for $59.90. The membership includes 150% down
line earnings 5% commission bonus from referral
purchases and instant 4000 link ad credits. The
bonus on down line earnings is great and
provides the site with a powerful premium
membership deal.
Performance
When the site started it had an impressive 17
$0.01 for standard members on a daily basis but
sadly there now only seems to be 1 ad a day for
standard members. This could explain their
downward slope on the Alexa chart but hopefully
this site can get it together and start self
promoting a little more to gain more
advertisers. The rest is all there with the 100%
down line and $0.01 for any ad that is up.
Conclusion
This site may be going through a dry spell for
advertisers there is no reason why it cannot
regain them with a little more effort on their
self promotion. The site has everything else a
PTC site should have and for a site using this
script it is unusual to see high performance
attributes such as 100% down line. The only
other thing missing from this site is a forum.
