"We welcome all nations!"
Interview
with Debbie from bux.to

Recently
it has become increasingly noticeable that a large number of PT sites
are changing their terms and conditions to ban whole nations on the
grounds that they get more cheaters from them. In the past we have only
seen small PTR sites banning countries such as China who not only banned
them for having more cheaters but refused to give a reason why on their
website.
We at
UrOnlineBiz do not condone this way of doing business as we feel it’s
unfair on those who don’t cheat in with a country that gets banned for
this reason. We happen to know there are plenty of ways to deal with
cheaters and that it just requires a little bit of effort into
preventing it. We too have had our fair share of cheaters and only
prevented it by putting in the little effort and time it took to fix. If
we had of chosen to ban the country the cheater came from we would have
no doubt damaged our reputation and traffic.
We spoke
to the Debbie who administrates our most trusted PTC site bux.to about
this matter as they accept all nations and are still able to operate
with minimal loses from cheaters.
UOB: I would first like to ask how does Bux.to deal with cheaters from
around the world?
Debbie:
a) There
are two groups of cheaters. The real ones which are harming and damaging
the business. They are getting blocked/banned.
b) They
family/people in relation. They are just trying to make a little more.
May they are in need. They are getting banned if there is a real overuse
via multiple accounts and so on.
Bear in
mind each case is reviewed individually.
UOB: What is it that enables you to accept all other countries while
other sites have to ban whole nations to avoid cheaters because of stats
regarding a certain nation?
Debbie:
You cannot
ban whole nations. Of course we understand if there are more people in
need or financial trouble there is a higher risk that people are
cheating.
UOB: We noticed in the past when reviewing some small PTR sites we found
that they banned counties such as china for example and refused to give
a reason. What are your views as to why they do business this way? Would
you say it's a political thing?
Debbie:
China
is a big country with a huge potential for business but also has a lot
problems and many people in need. You cannot generalize because a few
Chinese are cheating to block the whole nation. We have excellent
contact and reliable members all over the globe. It is not fair and from
my feeling racialist to ban whole nations.
UOB: We understand it's hard to give away any information as to how you
deal with cheaters due to the fact that you don't want to give them tips
on how to avoid detection but is there one set method that is
unbeatable? Or are there weak points to any method?
Debbie:
Mostly
they are caught by human reviewing. This is very time consuming. We also
use other techniques and software to track them.
UOB: How much money would you say has been cheated out of the Bux.to
website from people trying to get around the system?
Debbie:
In
relation to the volume we handle not much. Less than 1%
UOB: What kinds of things do these cheaters do when they are caught?
What methods have they used to cheat the system?
Debbie:
They use a
wide range of techniques. I can assure you all are traceable. In 100
cheaters 1 may luckily get paid undetected.
UOB: According to your terms page cheaters who are caught will have
their accounts deleted without notice and little discussion as to why is
then involved in the case. Is there no follow up to a cheater being
caught for fraud? Is there any authority you report this illegal
activity to?
Debbie:
Right now
the damage/lost is not enough to follow up or to pass this to
authorities.
There you
have it, 1% is on average the % these websites are hanging onto by
banning whole counties. We thank Debbie for taking the time to talk to
us about this issue as this shows us the reasons for banning whole
nations isn’t as valid as whose who work to that rule say. If Bux.to
being the most popular PTC site can handle a global traffic storm with
little problem from cheaters why can’t the smaller sites do so too? This
question goes out to these websites that stick with this seemingly
unnecessary rule.
Graphic below show where Bux.to's
traffic came from during last weekend.

Bux.to are now back at their old +10
rating!

Bux.to
- New support ticket system
Bux.to is doing well and have no late payouts.
Their new support ticket site makes the correspondece between the
admins and the members a lot easier to keep track of and Bux.to says
they got a lot positive feedback for making these improvements.

Bux.to status
So what's the status for the PTC
Giant Bux.to?
Bux.to has now reached payouts up until
9th of September which basically means that they are up to speed.
Yesterday Bux.to closed deals with two
large advertisers and the ad sales goes up the whole time, which of
course means more money for the active members.
Due to fraud attempts Bux.to have had to
suspend some accounts but as the organization now has 4 moderators
for the forum only they believe they will be able to answer questions
quickly. For members who had their accounts suspended Bux.to has a
special thread in their forum where they can find some answers to their
questions.

And there are a lot fraud attempts right
now that take a lot of time to sort out for the Bux.to staff.
We got a comment from the Bux.to owner
today:
"Yesterday for example a standard member
claimed that he had clicked in very correct manner from July 1st until
yesterday, about 6,500 times. For people like this we are the bad guys
and the cheaters. But if you do some easy math: approximately 6 ads
daily x 100 days = 600 ads. Do I need to say more?"
PT
owners!
Send us your news and updates
and we will write about them.
Some people are wondering why we cover
Bux.to news this often? The answer is simple, they are the largest PTC
site out there, a lot of things happened to Bux.to recently and a over
half a million members want to know what is going on.
Also Bux.to keep us updated daily with their
progresses and changes they make which makes our work easier of course.
It is a smart marketing strategy too as they get free publicity and more
visitors to their website of course.
- If all PT owner kept us updated on what's going on with their sites we
could write more often about them too. As it is now we more or less have
to drag the information out of some PT owners. Maybe they don't want
free publicity?
And just to clearify: We are not owned by or associated with any PT
site, we just write about them. ;-)

Bux.to back with same
domain!
AdBux's attempt to close
down Bux.to, by getting their domain suspended, didn't last for long. 62
readers sent us email yesterday expressing their anger with the AdBux
admins and how they are now boycotting that PTC program for good.
Incidents like this cost a lot of money and effort for all parties
involved. One may wonder who lost more in this battle, AdBux or Bux.to?
Today at 13.30 GMT the Bux.to site was backup with it's old domain. All
members supporting Bux.to in this battle against AdBux are now
celebrating on the forum. Legal actions are in process against AdBux and
the people involved in the sabotage.
Let's hope that this is the end of the drama and that everyone can go
back clicking and earning.

AdBux vs Bux.to - the
final round?
There is an ongoing war you
don't get to hear about in the 9 o'clock news. The debate between AdBux
and Bux.to has blown up out of proportions and it is now a full bloody
virtual war.
The members seem to have
taken sides in this dispute and even those of us who just want to click
ads and cash in seem to be drawn in to the debate, whether we want to or
not. AdBux has accused Bux.to for fraudelent activities for months now
and the slandering has been rough in both directions. It all started
when AdBux accused Bux.to of hacking into their system and stealing
their script and database. Bux.to's response to the matter was that they
had actually hired their own programmer.
Just as Bux.to was getting
up to speed with the late payouts and everything seemed to look brighter
for the members, the AdBux admins decided to take the war one step
further. On the AdBux forum there is a 135 page thread about Bux.to and
the main subject over the last 24 hours has been "how to close down
Bux.to for good". The AdBux admins had an open discussion with their
members and brainstormed a few ideas such as reporting to the FBI for
fraud. The FBI's response was that they had nothing to go on so the
AdBux-ers had go back to brainstorming. This time they came up with the
idea to report abuse and accuse Bux.to of spamming. All AdBux
forum member were asked to send copies of sales letters sent to them by
Bux.to and the owner of AdBux forwarded these emails to the Bux.to
domain registrar as spam.
The fact that the
salesletters only are sent to registered Bux.to members was not
something they took into consideration. And it seems like the AdBux plan
worked. A few hours later the Bux.to website was unaccessible, hundreds
of thousands of Bux.to member shut out and wondering where their money
went? Meanwhile the AdBux admins was laughing out loud on their forum
and thanking the supporters for a good job.
As a mere observerer it was
fascinating to see how the AdBux admins slowly, hour after hour on
Sunday the 7th of Oct, was slandering Bux.to and convincing doubtful
members to join their side. Any objection was forced down quickly by the
admins and their closest men. The scene made us think of a notorious
german man with black hair and a little moustasche who yelled out his
propganda to the people and conviced them to either take his side or
suffer the consequences. The AdBux admins even managed to get the Bux.to
forum moderator over to the other side.
The accussations
It's no understatement to
say that both sides has accused one another of scam. Those of us who has
been around in the PT realm for a while surely remember the Netbux
scandal. The netbux owner stole around US$40,000-US$50,000 of the
members money and ran for the hills. A lot of people mean that the
person behind that scam is now the owner of AdBux and they cannot
understand how people can trust this person and his accussations against
Bux.to.
"It is only a matter
of time before he scam us all again. One would think people would learn
a lesson from dealing with this guy." says Joanna, an angry
PTC program member.
AdBux responded to the
matter by putting a website explaining the circumstances around Netbux
and AdBux.
http://theyscammedus.com/adbux.php#1
"Well of course he
would try and defend himself. If I was a scammer I would too. But
frankly I don't believe one word written on that website" Joanna
continues. "This war AdBux has started will only harm the members
and no one will gain anything if Bux.to goes down. There is a lot of
money invested in this program and they had just gotten back on track
with the payments.....then the AdBux snotty kids had to come sabotage
it. Their forum is filled with smileys, LOLs, LMAOs and disgusting
pictures supposedly impersonating the admins of Bux.to. It is clearly a
bunch of kids running AdBux and they're trying to take justice into
their own hands.
The AdBux forum really looks like a refugee camp for people who were
banned for cheating on Bux.to and couldn't take the fact that they were
caught."
But not everyone was angry.
Those standing on AdBux's side was celebrating loudly on the forum.
"I am glad to see
Bux.to shut down. They were very late with payments. I just got all my
money this weekend from Bux.to but I still think they are bad. It has to
be bad, if they are late with payments, right?" said an anonymous
member of both AdBux and Bux.to.
Most of us have heard that
Bux.to had troubles to keep up with payout and it has caused a lot of
turbulence among the members and some even started to suspect scam.
Bux.to admins explained that they were understaffed and simply not
prepared for this large amount of people joining the program. Just a
week ago they hired more staff to help out and have been working around
the clock to catch up with payouts.
We managed to get a hold of Bux.to admins for a comment.
"In regards to the payments we have reached the
5th of September, so we're close in our 30 days time frame as stated.
Difficult to work well if other people are trying to damage your
business just for the reason that we are more successful. At the moment
80% of our working power is wasted, they even send fake people to our
forum to keep us busy."
How this virtual war will
develop we can only guess, but today at lunch time (GMT) the Bux.to
wesbite was up again and running from the IP:
http://89.163.144.146/
Bux.to administration are taking legal
actions against what they think is a sabotage but first they want to
sort out any member issues and continue with the payouts.
"After all the members has to come
first" says Bux.to.
